Weather Hits ´Kites´, ´Blue´ And ´Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani´
- Abid           Let us know what you think about this story

The Weather Gods must be annoyed with Bollywood because at least four units shooting in different parts of the world have had to do with inclement weather in recent times.

Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Kumar’s 'Blue' is being shot in Thailand and news has travelled all the way from there that the unit had a tough time coping with the strong winds. Whether the hurricane in New Mexico permitted kite-flying or not, it surely did not allow the unit of Rakesh Roshan’s 'Kites' to go on with the shooting smoothly. In Africa, it was Kumar Taurani’s turn to be hit by the weather.

Vivek Oberoi and others are shooting for his film there. In India, it was the unit of Ramesh Taurani’s 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' which had to bear the brunt of the bad weather. Extreme cold, irregular showers and strong winds blowing in Ooty did take their toll on the shooting. The only silver lining was that director Rajkumar Santoshi had indoor work also and, therefore, would shift indoors when the weather Gods played spoilsport.
