 Akshay Kumar the Bollywood king of Martial Arts and Adrenaline Sports, has proved he is not only the King of Indian cinema but the King of Indian television as well! Returning to the small screen this year with the second season of his super-hit adventure reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ – the Indian version of ‘Fear Factor’ – his successful streak has soared him to the top once again as his show has reached the Number One spot in Indian television. Audiences just can’t seem to get enough of their favourite action hero and his adrenaline pumping exploits as the second season of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, which went on air on September 7th 2009, opened with a spectacular rating of 4.37 and a GRP (Gross Rating Point) of 325. In the last 59 weeks, not a single entertainment TV show has crossed 325 GRP’s. The television show has also attracted a staggering viewership of 12.6 million!
