Police Resorts To Cane Charge At Salman Khan´s Road-Show

Khan was here to participate in a 'Road-show' to support Congress candidate Rajendra Darda.

Hundreds of people thronged Chistiya colony locality to have a glimpse of their favourite actor, who was in an open jeep. Police kept them at bay but the unruly mob went haywire on seeing the actor. Later, police resorted to cane charge.

Police and security personnel had a tough time controlling the crowd. However, few youths also received minor injuries in the incident, police said.

Traffics in the nearby area came to a standstill and chaos prevailed in the locality on seeing Khan.

The actor waved his hands at the crowd and asked them to vote for the Congress nominee Darda.
