Mumbai, Oct 13 (PTI) Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is responding well to treatment at the Lilavati Hospital where he was admitted on Saturday with complaint of abdominal pain. "Amitabh Bachchan is responding well to treatment. Doctors are happy with the progress. We respect the patient's confidentiality," Dr Narendra Trivedi, Vice-President of Lilavati Hospital, said here today.

Sources close to the 66-year-old actor said some tests were carried out on him today and one more will be done tomorrow.

"The tests are routine. He is hale and hearty," they said.

Asked if Bachchan will be discharged tomorrow, the sources said "doctors have not told us anything so far."
