Himesh Reshammiya Will Continue To Compose Only For His Films

“To me, music is an important part of the film, as important as acting. And since I have been blessed with two voices I can use both at different times.”

Despite his first attempt at acting bombing at the box office, Reshammiya is not disturbed. “I made the mistake of trying a character that did not suit me. So for the next few films I am concentrating on roles that suit me. I want to play believable characters,” he said. And what about his music? “I have seen my music reach out to the grassroots but I will not compose for any banner, however big, of which I am not a part,” vows Rehammiya. “I want to be known as a package deal where I am acting, singing and composing.”

That it seems is a tall order for ordinary mortals but certainly not for Reshammiya.
