Abu Dhabi, Oct 20 (PTI) Bollywood producer Vashu Bhagnani has tied up with an Abu Dhabi-based production company for making three films to be shot in the UAE's capital city over the next 12 months. The first phase of the USD 22 million movie deal between Bhagnani's Puja Films and the production company, Code Red, will begin with the shooting of "Do Not Disturb", a comedy featuring Govinda, Lara Dutta, Sushmita Sen, Sohail Khan and Ritesh Deshmukh, The National newspaper reported. According to the announcement made on the closing day of the Middle East International Film Festival, the shooting for "Do Not Disturb", which is set to cost about USD 10 million, will start next month, the newspaper reported.
"With this, we are celebrating a long list of film-makers and artists who have understood Abu Dhabi and its importance," Rabbaa said. Director David Dhawan added: "It helps us in Mumbai that cities like Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with their lovely locations, have joined together to work with India to make great cinema."
