And so the latest edition of India's largest film festival, Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI) is all ready to start tomorrow with screenings taking place through Thursday, November 5th. Showcasing the best of Indian and foreign cinema ranging from short films, documentaries and feature length films, The Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival is being eagerly awaited by film buffs.

The 17th edition of the film festival will showcase films across 5 locations in Mumbai ranging from Andheri, Juhu and Ghatkopar to Lower Parel and Colaba. Several panel discussions are also slated to take place. Backed by a panel of trustees consisting of prominent names from the film industry including trustees such as Kiran Rao, Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Vikramaditya Motwane, Deepika Padukone, Manish Mundra and Siddharth Roy Kapur, the festival has an assortment of films to look forward to including Kothanodi, Lobster, Taxi, Sunset Song, Room, He Named Me Malala, Tangerine, Aligarh, The Assassin, Urmika, Chauthi Koot, Peddlers, Mistress America, Body, Manto, Junun and desi classics such as Pyaasa and Garam Hawa.
