New Delhi, Nov 6 (PTI) At a time when many actors and directors are experimenting with scripts in the new-age cinema, Rajshri Productions basking in the success of 'Vivah' is all set to release 'Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi' tomorrow on the same old genre depicting family values and culture. In a departure from the tradition followed by the production house of introducing fresh and popular faces like Salman Khan and Bhagyashree in the 1989 blockbuster 'Maine Pyar Kiya', this film will see Sonu Sood and Isha Koppikar, mostly known for character roles and item songs, playing the lead roles.
"But their understanding and love keep them together through a silent commitment," says Kaushik Ghatak. During the film's shooting the director found it difficult to shoot romantic scenes as in the most scenes there wasn't any physical proximity between the two lover. "We used to think for hours on how to portray romance in the scenes when both lovers do not meet each other," he says. Sonu Sood, who plays 'Prem' in the film, says, "We still romance each other in the film. It is not through touching each other. Romance is conveyed through songs, dialogues, situations, etc".
