Kanika Kapoor recently made her country (India) proud by singing the Indian national anthem at an event held at Wembley stadium in London, United Kingdom. A huge event was organised at Wembley to honour Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended by over 70,000 people.

It is learnt that Kanika's name was approved by the PM's office and the gorgeous singer performed in the presence of PM Modi and UK PM David Cameron. After national anthem, the versatile singer rocked in front of the packed audience and crooned mash-up of her hit songs that went on for 8 minute. Kanika was also invited by the Indian High Commission for a dinner.

Kanika informs, "I was chosen for the event as I am British Asian, and they felt that I have had many achievements in the last year and a half."
