Ever since the trailers of 'Kurbaan' have been running, people have been speculating whether the film bears a striking resemblance to Aditya Chopra’s 'New York' or not. After all, the trailers suggest that like John Abraham in New York, Saif Ali Khan too is a Muslim in 'Kurbaan'. That the due-for-release film deals with the subject of terrorism like the released film is well-known.

However, producer Karan Johar dismisses off all talk of similarity between the two films as incorrect. Says he, “There is absolutely no truth in the story that 'Kurbaan' and 'New York' are similar. There is nothing similar between the two films except that both deal with the subject of terrorism.”

The Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi starrer 'Kurbaan' is all set to hit the screens this Friday!
