London, Nov 18 (PTI) Call it a publicity gimmick or something else. Actress-singer Lindsay Lohan had changed her ring to the engagement finger just before a photo shoot.

Lohan was seen wearing a heart-shaped ring on the middle finger of her left hand while leaving a hotel in London's Kensington town with her girlfriend Samantha Ronson on Saturday.

The duo were off to Samantha's DJ gig at the Cafe de Paris. But by the time they arrived and posed for official snaps, Lohan had changed the ring to her engagement finger, the Mirror reported.

The latest move by "Meangirls" star is being seen as her effort to keep speculations alive on her relationship status with 31-year-old girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

Earlier, it was speculated that they were to get engaged in Paris.
