The Bombay police has offered 'Dev D' director Anurag Kashyap police protection following a threat from Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).

The filmmaker had recently commented that the statements made by MNS's Raj Thackeray were more vulgar than his film 'Dev D'.
