Panaji, Nov 22 (PTI) The 'reel' history of Indian cinema, spread over 87 years, would be showcased through posters at International Film Festival of India (IFFI) which gets under way here tomorrow. National Film Archives of India (NFAI) has taken up the task of showcasing some of the 'legendary film posters' at the venues in Panaji.
National Film Archives of India officer, Vijay Jadhav, said around 350 posters are on display at IFFI venues and to prevent the original posters from any harm, NFAI has put up copy of the posters. NFAI will also screen classics, picked up from archives, including 'Meera', 'Goonj Uthi Shehenai' at the IFFI, he said.
