10th River to River Florence Indian Film Festival To Screen ´Ishqiya´

The film is not only a success in India but has also received recognition worldwide. With the increasing popularity of Ishqiya, Bollywood too is making its presence felt in the world. Ishqiya has also participated in Munich International Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, IFFL, Bollywood and Beyond, The Indie Fest, 34th Cairo International Film Festival and Dainik Jagran Film Festival.

Hiren Gada, Director, Shemaroo Entertainment said ''We are glad to know that our efforts are recognised worldwide. The film has travelled across the boundary of language and culture differences and has been appreciated in every festival it has participated in.'' River to River Florence Indian Film Festival is held at Florence in Italy every year and had its first edition in October 2001 at the Rondò di Bacco Theatre of Palazzo Pitti in Florence. The aim of the festival is to promote only films from and about India, and is the first Festival of this kind in the world, a release said.
