New Delhi, Dec 4 (PTI) Helpless! is what choreographer -director Farah Khan felt after Mumbai was rocked by the unprecedented terror attacks. Even though her initial reaction was of complete shock and helplessness, the attacks she said also opened her eyes to the ground realities and made her more determined to fight terror in whatever way she could."We all are very angry with whatever happened in Mumbai. I felt helpless and I am still very angry but we must channelise our anger in a more constructive way to fight this menace," said Farah, who was in Delhi along with actress Sonali Bendre to create awareness about cervical cancer.
"I was leading a sheltered life but the terror strikes changed my whole outlook. I am not going to depend on politicians and government for my protection. I would rather try to look after my security in my own way," she said. "No religion preaches hatred and violence," Khan said, adding, she has opened a crisis centre and an emergency cell in her residential society to address any future crisis. When asked whether she blamed the government and politicians for the current crisis, the director said, "Why blame only politicians, we are equally responsible because we select them," the director said.
