´3 Idiots´ Take Himesh Reshammiya Mode Of Publicity Transport!

The makers of '3 Idiots' have thought of a novel way to promote their film. Auto­rickshaws plying in the suburbs of Bombay have the film’s logo painted on their back side.

Since the RTO rules in the metropolis permit autos to carry a maximum of three persons, the logo is preceded by the word ‘Capacity’ so that to the public, it would read: ‘Capacity 3 Idiots’.

However, an unlikely star had also used about the same mode of transport for the publicity. And it was none other than Himesh Reshammiya.

As may be recalled, for a sequence from ' Aap Ka Surroor', a number of autoricksaws were flown to Germany to take part in the shooting. Himesh's logic was that his songs are always played in auto­rickshaws and so it was his acknowledgement for their contribution to his popularity!
