Benaras And Its Ghats Welcome Back Son Of The Soil Anubhav!

Not many will be aware of this but filmmaker Anubhav Sinha ('Tum Bin', 'Dus', 'Cash' and 'RA.One') is from the holy city of Benaras. Before his mechanical engineering degree Anubhav owes his schooling and childhood to Benaras.

Being busy with his career Anubhav has not been able to visit his home town for about two decades.

However, the tech-wiz director is finally among the ghats of the holy town.

Says Anubhav (on a social networking site), "Benaras...... Where do I begin? Am back after at least 20 years. Started getting a taste of my city. Rode past Queens College, Chai at dashashwamedh ghaat, Chaat at Godowlia, Blissful time travel. Today visiting the house I have most of my childhood memories in. Those kites on the roof top and so much more....Had a long boat ride along the whole city.... what fun... Then the aarti at the ghaat."

Well, here's hoping for an even more wonderful homecoming!
