´Avatar´ Telugu (Dubbed) Print Speaks In Hindi, Fox Foxes Allu Arvind!
- Planet Bollywood Special Correspondant           Let us know what you think about this story

As per India's leading trade magazine Film Information, Allu Arvind, the Nizam and Andhra distributor of Fox’s 'Avatar' (English, Hindi dubbed and Telugu dubbed versions), was foxed by what the Fox people in India did.

For Priya and Shama cinemas in Hyderabad-Secunderabad, Fox’s office sent two prints of the Telugu dubbed version of the film alongwith a DTS CD of the Hindi dialogues. Both the cinemas don’t have DTS sound and both cater to the Hindi-speaking population. Imagine their plight and that of Allu Arvind because the DTS CD was useless for the two cinemas! Per force, Priya and Shama cinemas had to run the Telugu version of the film on Friday.

Hopefully, the Hindi version’s prints will reach the two cinemas today (19th December). By the way, Allu Arvind has reportedly paid a fortune (is it Rs. 3.30 crore?) for the distribution rights of the three versions of the film for Andhra and Nizam circuits. With the Telangana agitation going on, the film could not open in many parts of Andhra although the release in Hyderabad and Secunderabad was peaceful
