Trust Aamir Khan to come up with innovative marketing strategies for his films. Since his character suffers a loss of memory in 'Ghajini' and is forced to remember things once he starts recovering, he thought of a novel way to promote the film amongst his media and trade friends. About a month back, he e-mailed his friends in the media to send him their photographs so that he could write back to them what he ‘remembered’ the most on seeing the pictures. To Komal Nahta, the editor of India's leading trade magazine, Film Information, Aamir’s letter, sent alongwith Komal’s photograph, says, "Dear Komal, The Man I fear!!! Though our careers have begun around the same time (Komal became an assistant in 1983), it is only recently that I have got to know you better. Wish we had interacted more, earlier. Still…. better late than never. Love, Aamir.”
