Ady Putra, a Singapore-born Malaysia-based actor will make his Bollywood debut playing superstar Shah Rukh Khan's lawyer in the much awaited sequel to the movie 'Don'.
Best known for his bad boy roles in hit Malay movies like 'Anak Halal' and 'Histeria', Putra auditioned for the role in Kuala Lumpur for Don 2 in the middle of the year. He said he was told that he got the role last month. "I went for a casting call handled by one of the production houses in KL. I'm thankful to Allah for the opportunity and the happiness that comes with it," said Putra. 'Don 2', an action thriller, is the sequel to 2006 blockbuster hit 'Don'. Directed by Farhan Akhtar, it also stars Bollywood beauties Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta. According to the actor, he will begin shooting his part on Feb 15 and 16 in Malacca. As part of his preparation for 'Don 2', the actor said he wanted to beef up his body. "You have to be physically in good shape if you want to act in a Bollywood film. It's a prerequisite," he said.
