London, Dec 23 (PTI) Pop singer Christina Milian, whose ex-boyfriend Nick Cannon married superstar Mariah Carey, said she was 'shocked' by their marriage as the duo were an unlikely pair. Carey and Cannon exchanged vows in a secret wedding ceremony in the Bahamas in April this year after a whirlwind romance, the Contactmusic reported.

Milian revealed that she was stunned to hear the news of Cannon's marriage to Carey.

"I definitely was shocked like everybody else. I was like, 'Really?' It just seemed like a weird match," Milian told Rap-Up magazine.

"But I was happy for him. I always feel like Nick works hard to get what he wants, whether that be women - that's how he got me.

"He's a beautiful person. Regardless of what I felt in the past at the time, I actually forgive him and I'm very much over that," said Milian, who struggled through a very bad break-up with Cannon in 2005
