Mumbai, Dec 24 (PTI) "There was a lot of stress in the last 24 hours... I am happy at the relief granted by Madras High Court. I am pleased that film is finally being released," said Bollywood actor Aamir Khan whose much-hyped film "Ghajini" got the go-ahead from two High Courts in the country today. The film is set to hit screens tomorrow.

Talking about the case in the Madras High Court, he said "the case is old. Its hearing was completed on December 10, but the order of stay came on December 23." A Chandrasekharan, proprietor, Sri Saravanaa Creations, has filed the case in Madras High Court, claiming copyrights for the Hindi remake of 'Ghajini'. The High Court had yesterday stayed the release but a larger bench today vacated the stay, asking the producers to deposit Rs 5 crore in the court.

In Bombay High Court too, KBC Pictures have dragged the producers Geetha Arts to court, claiming copyright. But the High Court has passed no direction so far, adjourning the hearing till December 26.

Regarding the case in Bombay, Aamir said "there is no truth as far as I know".

As to the Madras case, he said, "the court will decide (the issue) but producers have proved their bonafides by depositing the money in the court." "Even in life, you don't know what problems you might face at the last minute," he quipped.
