Thailand's National film Board has banned 'Insects In The Backyard', a movie about a transgender father father struggling to raise two children, because "It contains scenes that immoral and pornographic." The board objected to several scenes, including an explicit one. Director Tanwarin Sukkhaoisit said the scenes were crucial to to the story line and could not be cut. She plans to appeal against the ban.
