The film is about a bunch of friends (Kalki Koechlin, Shiv Pandit, Gulshan Devaiya, Neil Bhoopalam and Kirti Kulhari) who basically just have a wild time being together. One night while racing with a fellow car, they meet with an accident and all hell breaks loose. The cop demands a hefty bribe to leave them unscathed. Not able to collect funds on time, they decide a fake ploy to kidnap one of their members (Kalki in this case) as her father is a rich NRI against ransom money. What they face in return is something they had never dreamt of.

First time director Bejoy Nambiar does an impressive job when it comes to writing and direction both. The film starts on a slow note but gathers momentum as the incidents take place. Thanks to a riveting screenplay, not even once you get a feeling of getting bored. Dialogues by Abhijeet Deshpande are hard hitting and penned very well.

Talking of performances, Rajeev Khandelwal does a superb job as an honest cop. Kalki plays a complex role and is able to do full justice to it. Shiv Pandit, Gulshan Devaiya, Neil Bhoopalam and Kirti Kulhari also show a lot of promise and play their parts with remarkable ease. Off the supporting cast, Rajit Kapoor, Pawan Malhotra, Nikhil Chinappa, Rukhsar, Raj Kumar Yadav and Rajat Barmecha (cameo) do their jobs with utmost sincerity.

Music by Pillai, Amar Mohile, Ranjit Barot, Anupam Roy has a modern tune and suits well with the theme of the movie. Editing by Sreekar Prasad is razor sharp while Madhie is spectacular as a cinematographer. Jaaved Ejaaz deserves a special mention for a brilliant chase sequence. Ditto for the sound design by Kunal Sharma which is top notch.

To sum it all up, this one has efficient direction, bravo performances, an intriguing plot which holds your interest very well and hence keeps you glued to your seats till the end. Take my word, do the ‘shaitani’, else God won’t forgive you!
