Union Minister Raosaheb Danve, who belongs to the Bhartiya Janata Party, gave a statement today saying how the state of Maharashtra has an ‘Amar Akbar Antony’ government which could collapse anytime. By Amar Akbar Antony, he was referring to the political coalition named ‘Maha Vikas Aghadi’ or MVA and which consists of multiple political parties.
Reacting to Danve’s statement, MLA Rais Shaikh posted a tweet which was full of wit and humour. The tweet read, ” Raosaheb Ji, The movie ‘Amar, Akbar, Anthony’ was super hit and so will this #MVA government be. You stop being Tayyab Ali Pyar Ka Dushman 😉 “
Talking about the same tweet, the Samajwadi Party leader says, “The Maha Vikas Aghadi comprises of several political parties with different ideologies but all of us have come together to work towards one common goal – the welfare and growth of our beloved state Maharashtra. The present government has been more effective in dealing with all the major issues than any other government in the recent past. Even the international media spoke about how well honorable chief minister Shri Uddhav Thackeray handled the Covid-19 crisis.”
Rais Shaikh’s exemplary work in his constituency – Bhiwandi East – over the years have endeared him to the people living there. Apart from being a good leader, the politician is known for his calmness and sense of humour.
“I am glad that Raosaheb mentioned Amar Akbar Antony. It is a film that talks about the secular fabric of our country and exemplifies the fact that unity is strength. Just like the characters of the film, the ruling government has diversity and that is what makes it so strong and vibrant. Amar Akbar Antony was a massive blockbuster and the present government has also received much more love and respect than the previous governments”, he states.
