Nikita Dutta, who was last seen portraying the role of Simran in the Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Gold’, won the Best Emerging TV Actor Of The Year award at the Iconic Achievers Awards 2018. Nikita is one of the leading actresses on the small screen and has appeared in some of the most popular and talked about shows in the recent past.
A former Miss India finalist, Nikita made her film debut in the year 2014 with ‘Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’ and then, went on to feature in a bunch of popular TV shows like ‘Dream Girl’, ‘Ek Duje Ke Vaaste’ and ‘Haasil’. By her own admission, the actress has made a conscious decision to stay away from doing saas-bahu shows or working on projects that run for several years at a stretch.
After working in television and films, Nikita will now be making a foray into the digital space with her new show ‘Aafat’ that will stream on the video playing app MX Player very soon.
