Aparshakti Khurana is certainly the flavour of the season! While last year the versatile actor had portrayed several memorable roles in award winning films including the blockbuster Stree, and Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi along with hosting the popular television show Kanpur Wale Khuranas, he is happy with the encouraging response his latest release, Luka Chuppi has been receiving.
Having played various interesting characters with great élan, Aparshakti impressed the audience once again by portraying a cheerful and lighthearted character in Luka Chuppi alongside Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon.
With his simplicity and brilliant acting credentials, the effortless actor simply light up the screen making his roles appear interesting and real.
The movie which hit theatres this week is being appreciated by the critics, trade and audiences for its effective narrative and brilliant performances by the cast, especially Aparshakti who has been lauded for his hilarious and entertaining one-liners.
Here are some of the reviews:
Masala.com – Aparshakti Khurana as Abbas, Guddu’s best friend, with his deadpan humor and on- point dialogue delivery is one of the highlights of the film.
Gulf News – The one who won my heart is their Man Friday friend Aparshakti Khurana, who plays a Muslim in the Hindu-dominated Mathura. His satirical swipe on the existing religious divide makes you laugh and hits the right spots.
India Today – It is Aparshakti Khurana as Guddu’s best friend Abbas who steals the show with his deadpan humour.
Firstpost – The nicest scenes are between the three friends, with Khurana handling the complexities of Abbas’s character with gentleness.
In.com – Aparshakti Khurana, as Guddu’s friend Abbas, is pure gold. He’s the kind of friend that accompanies you in all flop plans and shares the pain.
Filmibeat – Aparshakti Khurana is lovable as Kartik’s buddy in the film.
