Bipasha Basu’s love affair with fitness is for everyone to witness. With three successful fitness DVDs, the sultry beauty has inspired people to embrace a healthy life. Owing to contributions to the field, like hers, the number of gyms and yoga centers across the country have surged remarkably.
It is learnt that the gorgeous actress was approached by a college in Kolkata to deliver a session, guiding the youth to incorporate fitness in their routine and lead healthy lives. Spearheaded byBipasha, the session will be participated by a panel of fitness trainers, nutritionists and psychologists. The points of discussion will be immunity against ailments, exercising right, staying active, taking care of the nutritional requirements of the body and most importantly loving yourself.
Bipasha will be in conversation with the students of the college and shed light on eating disorders, diet and weight management.
A source close says, “It is important to understand the psychology of the youth. Most of them have a conflicting sense of self and constantly in search of validation. Young girls and boys think fitness is just about an enviable figure/physique. We wanted someone with indomitable knowledge to address the youth. We are glad Bipasha agreed to make time for this.”
Adds another source close to the actress, “Being a Bengali, Bipasha adores the city (Kolkata). She was very excited at the opportunity to interact with the students and happily adjusted her schedule to accommodate the session. She will be bringing snippets of information from her own routine to add weight to her talk.
