Apart from talent and hard work, you also need a bit of luck to make a mark for yourself in the Hindi film industry. Lady Luck was definitely smiling on the young Dhruva Karunakar who cracked his first ever audition and got to be a part of a music video called ‘Eppetiki Prema’ alongside former Miss India Aditi Arya which went on to become very popular.
Two years later, the young lad, who has trained in ‘Muay Thai’ and ‘Krav Maga’ (martial arts styles) from Hong Kong and has done a course in film direction from the prestigious New York Film Academy, is gearing up for his acting debut with the Telugu film ‘Ashwamedham’. The film will be directed by Nitin G and produced by Eloquence Entertainment.
When asked what made him pick this film as his debut, Dhruva says, “I was lucky to have cracked my first ever audition and do a big music video. The right things happen to you at the right time. i had to wait two years to get the right film but it was completely worth it. All this while, I trained myself extensively in different ways to get better at my craft. ‘Ashwamedham’ has arrived like a blessing in my life and I could not have asked for a better debut.”
The first poster of ‘Ashwamedham’ has created a stir on social media and the makers plan to launch an exciting promotional campaign that will give the audience a sneak-peek into the content of the film before it hits the theatres in July.
