Mumbai is once again going to be blessed with Bappa and the God of good beginnings is all set to make his presence felt in the city. On the sets of Nach Baliye 9 too, they decided to usher in the festive season with some good deeds!

Recently, the sets of the dance reality show which continues to soar in popularity, was visited by a group of visually-impaired children who had come to celebrate the festival with the contestants and judges of the show. The kids seemed delighted to be here with some of their favourite personalities and there was a whole lot of banter, fun and masti with everyone around. Funny man and host Maniesh Paul was at his wittiest best interacting with the children.

But what followed warmed the cockles of everyone’s hearts. Once the song and dance was over and the kids spoke about how they often miss out on the small joys of life because of financial difficulties, Maniesh instantly reacted by announcing that he will be donating Rs 51,000 to them. Says a source, “Maniesh’s gesture of goodwill was so heartfelt, that it had a domino effect and immediately, many others came forward to extend financial help to the children. It was a moment that came purely out of a sense of responsibility for our future generation and was appreciated by all.”

Looks like it’s not just the festivities and meeting their favourite TV personalities that the kids will remember for long, but even this beautiful gesture by the host of the show which will remain a special memory for them. Say Ganpati Bappa Morya!
