The ongoing tension between India and China has once again escalated. Attempts were made by Chinese troops to change the Line of Control in the Pangong Lake area, as in the Galvan Valley. As a result, India seems to have taken an aggressive stance against China. The central government has banned 118 Chinese apps. Notably, it also includes a pubic game that is hugely popular among young people. Actress Celina Jaitley has expressed happiness over the Centre’s decision. “PubG game is finally banned, cheers,” she tweeted. Her tweet is currently catching everyone’s attention.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Information and Technology, Pubji mobile games have been banned under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act. The banned apps include Baidu, Baidu Express Edition, Tencent Watchlist, FaceU, WeChat Reading Tencent Weiyun. Sources say that all these apps have links with China. The ministry said the move was prompted by India’s sovereignty and security concerns. The ministry also said it had received several complaints.
