His performance was appreciated and even bagged him the ‘Best Debutant Award’ at the Star Screen, ELLE and Stardust Awards. His next project was Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap’s Bhavesh Joshi Superhero. A vigilante story of three boys in Mumbai who grow tired of corruption and decide to bring about change and serve people ‘Insaaf’(justice). The movie takes a serious turn when his character steps up to the mantle and dawns the mask to become ‘Bhavesh Joshi’. His portrayal of a vulnerable friend who feels guilty for his friend’s death and then transforms into a vigilante was praised by audience and critics alike. The film, which is now on a popular streaming platform, has received immense love and is well on its way to achieve cult status.
When asked Harsh about his upcoming plans he said, “I am currently prepping for Abhinav Bindra’s biopic in which I will be starring along with my father. It is a story I am very moved by and look forward to bringing it forth to the world. I am also in the process of reading some really interesting scripts from which I will be finalizing my next projects. There are some interesting ideas and amazing directors that I can’t wait to work with.”
