Talking about the same, he says, “I love anchoring. It has given me a lot of love and I will continue doing it. Music was always a passion and I wanted to pursue it seriously. A lot of people think being a DJ or remixing songs is an easy task, but it is not. DJing is not just selecting the best of tracks and pushing the Play button. It’s about mixing songs beat to beat and giving the audience an experience, which is an art in itself.”
When asked how he got interested in Djing, he states, “DJ Shiva is one of the biggest DJs in the country and I feel blessed to have him as my Guru. I always make it a point to attend his gigs and learn from him. He is one person who has been instrumental in me taking up the decision to become a DJ apart from being an anchor. I have also been hugely inspired by the kind of work DJ Notorious does, which includes his hectic lineup of shows and official Bollywood remixes. I look up to Hardwell and David Guetta who rule the dance music scene on the global level.”
The anchor-cum-DJ plans to use both his skills at every event he does from now. While he will start off the event as an anchor, he will end it on a high with the thumping beats he will belt out as a DJ.
