Kiara Advani is clearly on a roll! Just a few days back, the actress started shooting for ‘Laaxmi Bomb’, the official remake of the Telugu hit ‘Kanchana’ and today, her new film ‘Shershaah’, co-produced by Dharma Productions has been announced. The film, which is a biopic on the late Indian Army captain Vikram Batra, was in the news for some time but it was today, that it was launched officially.
Says a source, “Though the film revolves around Captain Vikram Batra’s life, there are other characters which play a crucial role in taking the narrative forward. One such role is that of Kiara, who plays Vikram Batra’s love interest in the film. Her presence brings about a lot of interesting changes in his life.”
Kiara had played the protagonist in Karan Johar’s film in ‘Lust Stories’ which was co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Apart from playing a cameo in Dharma Productions’ ‘Kalank’, she will also be seen in ‘Good News’, co-produced by the company. ‘Shershaah’, thus, will be her third film with the company.
