Kritika Kamra, one of the most well-known names on television, recently made her film debut with ‘Mitron’. Though the film could not set the cash registers ringing, the actress received accolades for portraying the feisty and ambitious Avni. Well, feisty is also how one would describe her in real-life as well. Recently, on the occasion of National Daughters Day, Kritika posted a picture of her with her parents on Instagram. The picture was accompanied by a heart-warming message posted by her.
In the note, she wrote about feeling blessed to being born to parents who did not differentiate between her brother and her. The opening notes of the post read, “I’m lucky I was born to feminist parents. I realised this obviously very late in life because I wasn’t ever told. This is feminism. In fact, I don’t think my parents really knew it themselves.”
The note struck a chord with her followers and resulted in several of her fans liking and commenting on it. The actress is known to portray powerful, independent women on screen and now, after reading this post, we know what makes her the feisty and confident woman she is today.
