A song depicting a war-cry in a war-based film is mandatory. As ‘Panipat’, director Ashutosh Gowariker’s new film aims to take the audience through the Battle of Panipat, one was expecting a high-octane song of that nature in the film. “Mann Mein Shiva”, the new song from the film which released earlier today, seems to be a track which arrives before the Maratha army is about to go for a war.
What is interesting is that while the song talks about the bravery and valour of the Marathas, it does not go over-the-top while doing so and the melody is quite soothing. The song composed by Ajay-Atul, written by Javed Akhtar and sung by Kunal Ganjawala, Deepanshi Nagar and Padmanabh Gaikwad, make an impression in the very first hearing and has been shot very well too.
The two songs, released so far, have left a lasting impact and now, one waits for the full album to arrive.
