While Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’ is inching towards the 60 crore mark at the box office , Mukesh Chhabra ,the man behind the casting of the film couldn’t be happier that the performances in the film have been so well received. Chhabra was the one who cast Sushant Singh Rajput in his debut film Kai Po Che and ever since there was no looking back for the actor , considered one of the finest talents in the industry today.
As the critics are all praise for Sara Ali Khan’s performance in the film, Chabbra cannot help but feel proud about the young star with whom he conducted workshops with for over a month,not to mention multiple rehearsals.
Says a trade source, ” If your casting for a film is done right, half the job is done. Mukesh Chhabra has the knack of recognizing talent and who best suits a particular character and this comes from his deep understanding of the script.”
Adds a unit source, “Mukesh worked hard on the chemistry between co-actors and worked closed with them on their scenes , rehearsals and several workshops. Each character underwent intense training and Mukesh was present throughout the entire process of their prep for the film”.
