Every year, many new producers get into the industry hoping to give wings to their dreams and make films that would resonate with the audience. However, only a select few get to realise their dream of making it big in the tinsel town. One such person who is making waves with his creative and entrepreneurial skills is young producer Rohit Kumar. Kumar, who made his foray into film production with ‘Shaadi Teri Bajayenge Hum Band’, plans to produce multiple films in Hindi and Punjabi in the near future.
Talking about his plans, he says “I am happy that I have finally been able to make a film in Hindi. In my very first film ‘Shaadi Teri Bajayenge Hum Band’, I got to work with wonderful actors like Rahul Bagga, Rajpal Yadav and Mushtaq Khan, among others. Now, I have bigger plans. I plan to produce multiple films in Hindi, Punjabi and other languages every year.”
Rohit’s company Rangrezaa Films has already announced its next venture titled ‘Naukar Vahuti Da’, a Punjabi film directed by Smeep Kang and features popular Punjabi actors Binnu Dhillon and Kulraj Randhawa in lead roles. The film went on the floors in February and is scheduled to hit the theatres on 23rd August, 2019.
“Naukar Vahuti Da is a family drama with a touch of comedy to it. Some of the most reputed names in the Punjabi film industry are associated with this film and I am sure families will love this film and lap it up in a big way. We will announce one more Punjabi film this year and two Hindi films next year. Our aim is to create good content in different languages that will appeal to the audience.”
