Filmmaker – producer Raaj Shaandilyaa is regarded as one of the most promising and talented new age directors of the Hindi cinema. The Limca Book Record holder started his journey with the television industry back in 2006, post which he worked as a lead writer and content director for the ‘Comedy Circus’ show from the year 2007 to 2014.

Hailing from the Jhansi town of Uttar Pradesh, Raaj Shaandilyaa later worked as a dialogue writer for a few Bollywood films including ‘Welcome Back’ in 2015 and ‘Freaky Ali’ in 2016. In the year 2017, Raaj once again impressed one and all with his exceptionally good screenplay in the Sanjay Dutt starrer ‘Bhoomi’ and dialogues in the action comedy ‘Jabariya Jodi’.

However, it was year 2019 which came as a big high in Shaandilyaa’s career as the filmmaker marked his long-awaited directorial debut with the comedy film ‘Dream Girl’, which eventually turned out to be a huge success commercially and was lauded by the critics as well.

Opening up about the same, Raaj Shaandilyaa said, “I’ve learnt so much at every step of my career and honestly I believe nothing speaks louder than talent and self belief. Am grateful for all the love that has come my way and I hope to continue touching people’s lives through my work.”

Being someone who’s a master of all and only made it big with his sheer hard work and unmatchable talent, Raaj Shaandilyaa’s journey is nothing less than an inspiration for many. According to latest reports, the filmmaker has been working on several scripts during the lockdown and fans sure can’t wait for the next big announcement soon.
