For 90 years, Lux has been embraced by iconic stars who have been the epitome of beauty. The prolific performer walked away with the trophy at the glamorous, grand and star-studded third edition of the Lux Golden Rose Awards – an evening dedicated to celebrating the beautiful divas of Bollywood and how they have inspired us over the decades.
This year, the Lux Golden Awards has supported UN’s #HeForShe initiative, a platform that carries forward our near-century long commitment to celebrating the women in Indian cinema through the male stars they have inspired.
Says Swara of her proud win, “Great thank you to Lux because I never thought I would receive an award in any category that also has Kareena Kapoor in it. This award belongs to Rhea (Kapoor) for seeing me in a way that I did not see myself and also for seeing the confidence and style in my madness.”
Swara’s interesting line up of projects include a web series Raspberry and the second season of the popular show, It’s Not That Simple 2.
