Recreations are the order of the day and the latest track to be recreated is the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s ‘Tere Bin’. While the original was written, sung and composed by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the new version has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi and written by Rashmi Virag. The vocals have been provided by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Asees Kaur. The song, shot in Switzerland, boasts of some rich visuals and is a good addition to the list of romantic numbers which have been shot in the country.
Since the film based in Maharashtra/India, one expects this to be a dream sequence. The film is an out-and-out actioner and one expects this track to provide the audience with a breather of sorts from the tension on the screen. It is interesting to note that just like the first track (‘Aankh Maarey’) from the film, this one, too, is a rehashed version of a hit track. While the former was about chhed-chaad, this one is all about falling in love.
‘Simmba’, produced by Dharma Productions and Rohit Shetty Picturez and presented by Reliance Entertainment, hits the screens on 28 December, 2018.
