I have been attending the festival since 2008 and have some wonderful memories attached to it. I have seen a lot of films in the festival which I missed seeing in the theatres. It feels amazing to realise that my own film now be screened at the same festival.
The film comprises of a bunch of talented actors, including Shreyas Porus Pardiwalla who has films like ‘Yaariyan’, ‘Sweetiee Weds NRI’ to his credit.
“I am extremely grateful to the Divine mother and the holy lord for giving me the opportunity to star in ‘Bawraa’ and making our film travel to so many places and win so many awards and accolades. I recently won the Best Supporting Actor award at the first International Film Festival held in Dombivali. I got extremely excited when I got to know that our film will be screened at the prestigious Kala Ghoda Arts Festival. I have been visiting the festival for several years now. When I was in college, one of my plays was staged there. A few years after that, I was a part of a street play that we performed to at the festival. The festival is very dear to me and it is so lovely that a small, little film like ours is getting so much appreciation”, the actor remarked.
Harsha Chopda, who has been seen in web series ‘I Love Us’, well-known crime serial ‘Saavdhan India’ and has also worked in music videos says, “I am speechless! It is a great platform wherein so many diverse people who are fond of arts would come together and would get to see our film. It’s overwhelming.”
