Akshay Kumar has done a special appearance or a cameo in several films in the past. In the recent past, he was seen as Sooryavanshi in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’. That bit was, of course, to give the audience a glimpse of the world in which Rohit Shetty’s next with the actor is set in.

Earlier today, the song “Ali Ali’ from the film ‘Blank’ was released. In the fairly unusual video, Akshay is seen grooving to the song with leading man Karan Kapadia, who happens to be his wife Twinkle Khanna’s cousin. While the film must be special for Akshay because of the fact it serves as Karan’s launch pad, there is another connection he has with the film.

The action thriller has been co-produced by Tony/Antony D’Souza who had earlier directed Akshay in films like ‘Blue’ and ‘Boss’. As the actor has collaborated with the director on two films, it is but natural for him to agree to lend some support to a film produced by D’Souza.
