Back in the day, actors would mostly turn producers when they realise the best phase in their acting career is behind them. Times have changed. A lot of actors are getting into production at a very young age. Anushka Sharma produced her first film ‘NH10’ at the age of 26 and went on to back a couple of more films like ‘Phillauri’ and ‘Pari’ after that. Recently, Alia Bhatt announced the launch of her company Eternal Sunshine Productions. While the actress has not announced any project yet, she opened up about the kind of content she intends to produce.
“At the end of the day, I am a creative person. I will be putting in money but most importantly, I want to be creatively involved with all the films that I produce. I will be more of a creative producer than a line producer. I thought this was a good time for me to get into production.”
When asked if she will be acting in all the films she produces, she replies, “I will be acting in some of the films I will be producing but there might be a few in which I will not be involved as an actor.”
