The song “Kamariya” from ‘Mitron’ has spread like a wildfire and has reached out to every nook and corner of the country. The song, composed by Lijo George and DJ Chetas and written by Kumaar, is one of the biggest hit tracks of this year. While the song played in the opening credits of the film, it also had a music video which has garnered more than a million views on the internet. What a lot of people are not aware of is the fact that the song was shot in a day.
“Yes, that is true”, confirms Jackky. “Initially, the song was supposed to be used as a background song in the opening titles but we felt that the song is so good that it deserves a music video. We got a budget from the producers which was not much. We sat down and planned carefully as to how we will shoot the song. We started at 9 am and shot till 4 am the next day.”
Apart from being the lead actor of the film, Jackky had also served as the music curator on the film and had helped the makers put together the album.
