I have not seen \u2018Pelli Choopulu\u2019, the Telugu film which \u2018Mitron\u2019 derives its basic plot from. Director Nitin Kakkar, who directed the very original and entertaining \u2018Filmistaan\u2019, is back with a film that happens to be the remake of a successful Telugu film. As stated earlier, I have not watched the original, so I will not draw any comparisons between the two films based on the trailer. But if you look at the trailer, without any preconceived notions, you might just like it.<\/p>\n
The film revolves around Jai (Jackky Bhagnani) who has a lackadaisical attitude towards life and keeps devising seemingly unique and out-of-the-box ideas which he believes will help him make it big in life. Meanwhile, his parents are pestering him to get married and urge him to meet Avni (Kritika Kamra). Avni wishes to start her own business venture and asks Jai to join him as a partner.<\/p>\n
The trailer indicates that the film seeks to bring to the fore the dreams, desires and ambition of the youth of today\u2019s India. Jaccky Bhagnani had a bad run at the movies as an actor but he looks in fine form here. His monologue in Gujarati is the highlight of the trailer. Kritika Kamra has been a part of several successful shows on television and this film seems to have given her a good opportunity to showcase her talent on the big screen. Pratik Gandhi, who plays Jai\u2019s friend, is one of the leading actors of Gujarati cinema.<\/p>\n
A director who has proved his mettle with first very first film, a\u00a0 cast that seems to be in good form and a story that seems to be promising \u2013 that is how one would sum up the trailer of \u2018Mitron\u2019.<\/p>\n
