These are the kids who are already touted to be the stars in the making. In fact there were major plans already in place to launch them in 2020. However, with corona pandemic showing its ugly face, all these debuts got pushed to 2021. Though new dates were announced for most of their films, one now waits to see when does it all happen eventually. Let’s take a look.

Vijay Devarakonda – Liger

Arjun Reddy made him a south sensation and Kabir Singh aroused further curiosity amongst one and all to check out how Vijay Devarakonda would fit into Bollywood. Karan Johar has already planned the biggie Liger with him and Ananya Pandey in the lead.

Manushi Chhillar – Prithviraj

There were major Diwali 2020 plans in place for Akshay Kumar led Prithviraj but then due to corona, the film got pushed to this year. As a result Manushi Chillar would have to wait for longer to arrive on the big screen. The young woman had in any case been waiting patiently for last couple of years to make it big in Bollywood.

Ahan Shetty – Tadap

Bollywood can well do with more leading men and Ahan Shetty definitely promises to bring on his macho side. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has already given Bollywood a major star in the form of Tiger Shroff and Ahan Shetty could well join with Tadap. The new release date has been announced and hopefully it would be met once the pandemic recedes in the second half.

Shalini Pandey – Jayeshbhai Jordaar

Just like Vijay, there has been good curiosity to check out Shalini Pandey too ever since Arjun Reddy found good popularity. She is seeing a big Bollywood launch by YRF as she has been paired opposite Ranveer Singh in Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The film is ready but then one can expect Ranveer’s ’83 to arrive first in 2021. Shalini debuted on OTT though with Bamfaad last year.

Lakshya – Dostana 2

Dostana 2 was supposed to arrive during the middle of 2020 though a formal release date was yet to be announced. The film is now going through a casting change as well since Kartik Aaryan isn’t a part of it. One waits for the new co-star of Lakshya in this film where Karan Johar is giving him a big launch.

Sharvari Wagh – Bunty aur Babli 2

She was seen on OTT platform in Kabir Khan’s The Forgotten Army and now Aditya Chopra is launching Sharvari Wagh in Bollywood with Bunty aur Babli 2. The film’s original release date was set for last summer and very recently it was supposed to arrive this month itself. However, with Yash Raj Films pushing the film ahead, the wait continues for Sharvari.

Krystle D’Souza – Chehre

Chehre went through changes in release plans for a while and in fact was all set for April release. She is now waiting for her big screen debut.

Pranitha Subhash – Hungama 2

A popular name down south, Pranitha Subhash has been roped in by none other than Priyadarshan for her Bollywood debut. A sequel to Hungama means that Pranitha would be showing her comic side opposite Meezaan Jaffery. The film is complete and was supposed to be released on the Independence Day 2020 weekend. One just waits to see when does it arrive this year.

Shirley Setia – Nikamma

Singer turned actress Shirley Setia is touted to be the new kid on the block with her debut in Nikamma opposite Abhimanyu Dasani. One now waits to see if Shirley is seen on the big screen too this year as she has already debuted on OTT platform with Maska.

These are the kids who are already touted to be the stars in the making.
