ShowCase events curated an\nunforgettable musical evening and lifetime experience by taking the audience\nthrough a journey of the true soul of Rajasthani Folk music. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\ntrue ambassador of Rajasthani folk music – Kutle Khan brought alive the\ndifferent colours of Rajasthani folk music from the desert. The show began with\nthe Desi nagada\u2019s creating the feel and environment of Folk culture from the\nland of love followed by the sweet melody of the Khamaycha and sarangi. This\nshow also had 16 more musicians from the legendary and traditional\nfamilies of Rajasthan. The Solankis of Pushkar with their Nagaras, Dare Khan\nfrom Jaisalmer with the Khamayacha, the saarangi, morchang, bhapang, dhoakl by\nthe families from bikaner, barmer, Jaisalmer, jodhpur and Jaipur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nKing of Folk Kutle Khan took over the audience with his songs like Kersariya\nand many more. Jugalbandi\u2019s and the amazing ghoomar by the Sapera ladies from\nJodhpur, kept the audience on the edge of their seats with excitement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Show concluded with the dancers and\nmusicians moving their feet to the all-time favorite song Nimbooda Nimbooda to\ngive the complete feel of the Culture tour at The Royal Opera House. This was\nthe premier Show of Sounds From The Desert, a folk musical tour by ShowCase\nevents and they are looking forward to having many more shows with different\nartists all over the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Show was attended by Shivangi Kapoor, Satish Shah, Sunita Roa and many stalwarts of the music industry and they all\u00a0 had a splendid evening.
