The celebrated writer is known for her unique understanding of complex characters in her stories but she is also not unknown to obstacles that come her way. However, the fierce writer won’t bend backwards for anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don’t censor myself. There is nothing that I would have changed in Manmarziyaan or Kedarnath. If I had to write it the second time, I would have done it the same way,\u201d she asserts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Talking about her highly-anticipated film, Judgmental Hai Kya, which was earlier titled Mental Hai Kya, she says, \u201cEven though we have changed the title, I as a creator, was picking up a topic of mental health. If you look at it at a macro level, you have a mainstream Bollywood film talking about this issue and the narrative is that this is sensitive and this is not sensitive. These organisations play lakhs to celebrities to come and talk about these issues and enter the general consciousness of the public and the film which we are attempting to do is doing exactly that.
