\u2018Dus\u2019 (2005)\nwas one of the highest-selling film albums of the year and \u2018Dus Bahane\u2019 was the\nmost popular song from the film. The song has now been recreated and rebranded\nas \u2018Dus Bahane 2.0\u2019 for the Tiger Shroff \u2013 Shraddha Kapoor starrer action\nthriller \u2018Baaghi 3\u2019. Tanishk Bagchi had earlier put together a recreated version\nof the song but when Vishal and Shekhar, the original composers got to know\nabout it, they raised an objection. The makers, then, got them on board to\nrecreate their own song. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After\nlistening to the newly recreated track, one realises Vishal and Shekhar were\nclear about not tampering too much with the sound of the original. K K and\nShaan had sung the original track and their originally recorded voices have\nbeen retained in this song \u2013 Tiger Shroff is seen lip-syncing to both their\nvoices in the song! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\norchestral arrangements are slightly different. This one has a more upbeat\nrhythm to it and the techno influence is more prominent here. The original\ntrack featured two make actors, Abhishek Bachchan and Zayed Khan, but since we\nget to see Shraddha Kapoor dancing along with Tiger Shroff in the new video,\nthere was a need to have some fresh lines written for the leading lady. Panchhi\nJalonvi, who wrote the original as well, does the needful and the said lines\nare sung by Tulsi Kumar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Without getting into comparisons, one would like to state the new \u2018Dus Bahane\u2019 is a fun, groovy track that, just like its predecessor, has a wonderfully addictive quality to it and is definitely going to be an asset to this commercial actioner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
